Our Facilities
With 55 villas and 7 apartments, spread across 50 acres of Australian bush, Kyneton Bushland Resort offers a wide range of facilities and activities to enjoy during your stay.

Along with the below facilities, guests can bring their own bikes to explore the local areas and all guests are encouraged to enjoy spotting the various native wildlife throughout our resort - Kangaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Reptiles and numerous species of Birds.
Swimming Pool, Sauna & Spa
Our swimming pool complex includes an 18-metre pool, toddler pool, spa and sauna for guests to enjoy daily between 8:30am and 10pm (8:30am to 9pm during the winter months). The pool is semi-enclosed and heated all year round.
The complex also includes two change rooms, toilets and showers.
Lake, Canoeing & Fishing
The lake is sure to keep you and your family entertained for many hours with fishing, canoeing or swimming.
The lake is stocked with trout and redfin and if you want to try your luck you will need to remember to pack your fishing gear.
Mini Golf & Giant Games
Our 18-hole mini golf course is both challenging and great fun for people of all ages. Local artist and KBR director, Kathryn Portelli has created a beautiful mosaic throughout the course along with a giant wildflower chess/checkers board, snakes and ladders and "Hop Squash".
Tennis & Squash Courts
We offer guests the use of two full-sized tennis courts. A squash court is also available for guest use. Racquets and balls are available to borrow from reception .
Playroom
There is also a playroom for under 5's attached to the games room with a playhouse, kitchen, slide, chalkboard and lots of toys and books to enjoy.
Playground
We have a wonderful playground located beside the swimming pool that includes a slide, swings, monkey bars and different climbing gear.
Basketball & Outdoor Gym
We have outdoor gym equipment and a fantastic basketball half court located lakeside for all to enjoy.
BBQs
There are 17 undercover electric barbeques scattered throughout the Resort that are free for guest use. We also have a rotunda which has tables, chairs, barbeques and a wood fire to keep you warm in winter.
Golf
We are able to offer guests reduced green fees at nearby Kyneton Golf Club and Trentham Golf Club. A pass will need to be collected from reception prior to going to the golf course. Golf Clubs are available to hire at reception for $20 per day.
Activities Program
The resort provides a range of activities and tours for guests of all ages, all year round. Our activities vary during the seasons and will include things such as winery and cidery tours, award-winning garden tours, trips to local towns, guided walks and much more.
During the school holidays, we conduct a program of children's activities including things such as mini golf tournaments, craft days, outdoor sports activities, bingo, find and seek challenges and more. These activities will also vary during the seasons.
We also have some on-site activities all year round like a weekly meet and greet drinks with nibbles, a pancake breakfast and a delicious bacon and egg breakfast roll.
Jumping Pillow
Next to reception and the mini golf course is our fantastic new addition to the resort, a jumping pillow!

The giant jumping pillow is fun for all ages, the young and those young at heart.

Our permanent new structure is open 9am - 4pm daily for all to enjoy.
Lounge, Gamesroom & Toddler Playroom
The southern end of the reception complex has recently been renovated and now has many entertaining spaces for all ages.
There is a large lounge area with a fireplace with comfortable lounge seating, a dining room with multiple tables and chairs, a small kitchen, a bar and a private theatre room with a big screen TV.
We also have an adults-only billiard room with two full-sized billiard tables. This cleverly designed space allows both parents and children to enjoy themselves separately whilst being in the same complex. The games room and lounge are open from 8:30am to 10pm (8:30am to 9pm during the winter months).
Equipment Hire
All equipment at the Resort is borrowed using an equipment card which can be purchased from reception for $2 (one card covers two guests, additional cards can be purchased for any extra guests if needed).
Prior to purchasing equipment cards, the guest must read and sign an equipment usage form.
Equipment is available to borrow during business hours with limited equipment available overnight.
